Up and Away
not staying today.
Been here before
So open the door.
Seek and not find
behold the divine.
At first I was blind
Now look there’s a tree.
Branches so broad
A heart that is strong.
Roots that go deep
Into my soul she will seep.
Cherish this gift
For you she will lift.
Give her your time
She requires not a dime.
Only your truth
Only your truth.
Where ever I go
bluster may unfold.
To keep the peace.
To encourage release.
Shed not a tear
Refrain from fear.
Leap as a deer
Freedom is near.
Withhold no joy
Sing into the void.
In boldness and light
Carry us in flight.
Ascend in delight.
What are you happy about on this most magnificent day? To be in a place of joy is truly a choice. So, today, choose happy; it leads to joy. What is the difference? Most importantly in these times, joy is about not only our own sense of contentment, peace, prosperity, etc. but it also is about the contentment of others; joy is satisfying to the soul. Happiness is more materialistic, temporary, and more about self pleasure. Choosing to be happy first, and then shifting that elation to include others, will lead to true joy. It is entirely possible to go from sad, unhappy, etc. to joy. For sure. It is just an easier leap if you start from happy.
While we navigate this yet uncharted journey through the Coronavirus, the standards of humanity are returning to a place of love, compassion, caring, and commitment. We are returning to joy in being uplifting and helpful to one another. We are raising our collective vibration. This is so beautiful and amazing. While we manage the fear of our own health and wellbeing, we are finding the capacity to also honor and care for our neighbors. Yes, there are those that have not quite found their way past selfishness but I have faith that we all will set aside our fear and be a help to one another. We will all experience moments of self centeredness, we are only human after all.
Joy boosts the immune system and has a positive impact on virtually every system of the body. So, while you are helping your neighbor or the person struggling to pay for their groceries, you are reducing the affects of stress and pain, boosting your immune system, supporting longevity and creating a healthier lifestyle. Most importantly you are also causing the same for the person whom you are being a help to. You are medicine of the very best kind.
I wish you joy, peace, and calm as you enjoy your weekend.
Attention, Attention! Do I have your attention? Where is your attention? Wherever your attention is, that too is where your power lies. The thing which you focus on, vacillate over, agonize about, and turn over and over in your mind has your power. So, be aware of where you allow your mind to travel and what you spend your time thinking about and what you go about setting your attention on. Do you want to give fear, anxiety, debt, worry, etc. your power?
I know that I have spent a great deal of time in my life handing my power over to other people; I gave them a great deal of my attention and so a great deal of my power. So many things came of doing that; so many undesirable things. It is important to constantly check in with who we are giving our attention to. Does the attention that we give to that person or persons empower us? Sometimes a person has our attention because it is like looking in a mirror; we see the habits, behaviors, etc. (in this other person) that we truly do not like about ourselves. Give yourself and the poor, unsuspecting person a break; recognize and embrace your feelings and then make the choice to work on those behaviors that you see as negative. Bring your attention to the positive changes that you are making.
To bring our power home; back to our center, we must bring out attention home. We must bring our attention back to the center. This is a very simple and easy thing to do; it only requires a bit of practice and consistency. To truly regain our power, we need only to bring our focus and attention back to the moment; to whatever it is that we are doing right now. For example, if you are reading a book, bring your focus to the words on the page and the intention of the author; be aware when your mind wanders off and re-focus. In this modern day of technology, our attention is so scattered. Our attention is like confetti that has been cast into the wind; it is spread out all over the place. Gather your attention and you are re-gathering your power.
“If you can change your mind, you can change your life.” -William James
We are in a time when being in alignment with our highest and truest self is essential. The distractions of the Coronavirus and all of the changes, fear, etc. that it is creating are a challenge for keeping our center. The BEST way to find and keep balance and maintain our power is to spend time in nature. Get outdoors. Not only do we restore our own power and gain balance from the trees, birds, grass, insects, plants, etc. but we also help to keep our immune system strong and healthy. https://medium.com/@ra.hobday/coronavirus-and-the-sun-a-lesson-from-the-1918-influenza-pandemic-509151dc8065
Bring your attention to the trees, the sky, a bird. Feel the fresh air clear your lungs and your mind. With each moment that you are focused on nature and your own true essence, you are restoring your power. You are healing and building your own immune system. It is so simple and we have everything that we need to do it. No prescription necessary.
We will get through this crisis. How we each get through it also determines how we all get through it together. If we individually are in awareness and in control of where we allow our attention to be, we are contributing to the overall sense of calm, unity, and hope that we need to manage this journey together. Thank you for collaborating with me to create a collective that is focused on unity consciousness and the beautiful way that we are all in this together and creating hope and joy where there is fear and illness.
Thank you for your attention.
CG-Each day presents a new opportunity to release, to release matter. The release of this day does not need to appear profound or epic for it to have long term and profound impact on our lives. Think about the stars, supernovas; not every release is so profound as another and yet the release is still taking place. The effect is lasting.
CG-Do what you will with the release of this day; the action upon this release is for this day.
CG-Choosing to retain the memory of this day and the sense of peace that has come as a result of the release can be maintained in the heart, in the cells; an action that has long term effect.
“Each day presents a new opportunity to release”
Wow! This guidance is packed with so much! It is powerful, thought provoking and I am sure that if I ever have full comprehension and understanding, has the power to change my life. I have been off and on contemplating, studying, and mulling it since October. I will share with you now what I have come to understand so far.
Let me begin with the first line- Each day presents a new opportunity to release-matter.
Indeed! I can confirm with absolute certainty that each day does in fact present an opportunity for me to release. I am constantly striving to release objects that have mass and take up space in an attempt to organize and de-clutter my home. I am also frequently presented with opportunities to release matters that are under consideration or that are a subject of disagreement; just yesterday, I was presented with the opportunity to release matter surrounding sheet rock dust!
When I think about this from the prospective of healing, I think about all of the ways that our bodies are releasing from one moment to another. The liver and kidneys performing the detoxification process for instance. Truly amazing really.
The second sentence: The release of this day does not need to appear profound or epic for it to have long term and profound impact on our lives.
The third sentence: Think about the stars, supernovas; not every release is so profound as another and yet the release is still taking place. The effect is lasting.
Catastrophic explosion! How many times have you experienced a release- say of anger, that felt like a catastrophic explosion. Perhaps you have been at the receiving end of another persons release of anger and felt like you were in the line of fire? Or perhaps, you have been at the receiving end of an explosion of love. Have you felt the outpouring of love from someone that causes you to feel so encompassed and embraced that it feels as though your heart will burst with the joy of it?
So, there is the nova type release and the supernova type release. It is all about the energy, vibration, and awareness of the release. If there is not awareness in the release, it can have catastrophic impact; we can harm ourselves or others by blowing up or not being mindful of our words, etc. We can also enjoy great benefits from a release that is done in conscious awareness. The relief of letting go of anger, frustration, guilt, hurt, anxiety, fear, etc. is immeasurable and the benefits can be equally as profound.
The closing of this guidance begins with the word choosing. We make a choice. We decide to retain a memory. This really has caused me to launch into another whole area of exploration. It is true, we make the choice to remember or retain information when we are preparing for a test or any number of things. We also retain memories of experience, people, places, etc. Do we make a conscious choice to remember these things? Can we make a conscious choice not to retain those experience? This is a topic for another day but it could be really fun to experiment with consciously choosing to remember or not.
To choose to retain the peace that has come as a result of the release (we will use anger as an example) of this day can be maintained in the heart and cells and can create a long term impact. We can look at this from both a positive and a non beneficial standpoint. To retain the peace of releasing anger and hold it in our hearts or to hold or maintain anger in the heart will eventually impact us at a cellular level. The choice being made is either toward healing or illness; when we choose to hold anger in our heart, we are making a choice to gamble with our health and risk becoming ill or the choice can be made to potentially heal by releasing anger and holding love in our heart. The long term effect can be so profound as to cause complete healing. When we heal our emotional heart and become centered on love, we begin the process of healing the physical body.
Here is a great info graph that shows the impact anger has and how it impacts us at the cellular level: https://www.iahe.com/docs/articles/nicabm-anger-infographic-printable-pdf.pdf
There are many ways that we can go about releasing. The obvious purging of unused and unneeded matter- the exercise bike in the corner of the bedroom that has become a clothing rack for example or the cat climbing tower in the garage that hasn’t been used since you last had a cat in 1992. The release of memories, experiences, emotions, etc. can be a little more challenging and may require a greater commitment of time, self love, and mindfulness. Meditation, exercise, therapy, spiritual counsel, etc. can all be of great benefit. Often, just having a safe, sacred place with a kind and loving witness can be all that we need to free ourselves from the undesired impact of some emotions and memories. No matter how you choose to release, begin now and honor your spirit, mind, and body with love and kindness.
